IHC Piping Investing in the Future
This month IHC Piping management and staff witnessed the symbolic driving in of the first pile in the construction of a new warehouse, distribution centre, another workshop and a new office in Sliedrecht, the Netherlands. IHC Piping says its expansion follows continuous growth at the IHC Merwede owned-company over recent years.
IHC Piping General Manager Jan Struys : “With these construction plans and a new automation system, we are ready to play an even bigger part in the many developments in our market and to increase our service levels, our efficiency and our quality”.
The new distribution center will make it easier to compile and ship IPK’s (IHC Piping Kits). The separate workshop will enable the production of precision piping for the hydraulic industry.
The warehouse and distribution center are expected to be ready at the end of August 2012. The opening of the production center and office building will follow a few months later.
