Vacon Benelux Celebrates 15th Anniversary
Vacon Benelux has its 15 year anniversary this month. Vacon Benelux was founded to serve the Benelux drive technology market with sound advice about drives and the application of drives. General Manager Dirk J. Verschoor started the company from modest beginnings 15 years ago. Since then Vacon Benelux has developed into a solid company with 30 employees. over the course of the years Vacon Benelux has expanded its expertise. The High Power Service Center has provided quick and reliable services and repairs for many years. The Competence Center, with test facilities up to 2.2 MW, adds to Vacon’s broad knowledge of drives. The Training Center educates technical and commercial personnel about Vacon’s drive technology. The latest asset is the European Repair Center, which repairs drives from all over Europe, lean and reliable. The company stated: “Vacon Benelux is now the leading dedicated AC drive manufacturer in the world. As the industry grows in the future, it’s our ongoing desire to innovate and inspire which will keep us going.”
