Rometal is Proud to Announce Their Romanian Facility Expansion.


The fast growing company recently expanded their Romanian facility with another 1,500 m². Earlier in 2008 Rometal expanded the company with a completely new plant in Brasov, Romania with a total surface of approx 3.500m². With this location and the one in the Netherlands they are able to build new structures as well as repairs, modifications, tests and assembling work.

Rometal BV was founded in 2001 in the Netherlands by Mr Van Utrecht as a machine building company in Klundert. The company supplies of all kinds of steel structures – with high tension steel S690, S890 and S960 in particular. Their high quality standards allows them to serve both the on- and offshore industry.

At their facility in the Netherlands they perform repairs, modifications and load tests. With an extensive experience building to code, in accordance with the regulations of the classification societies. Their experience includes crane building, heavy lift equipment, winches, dredging equipment, mooring equipment, deck- and seafastening equipment and foundations. With production facilities of approx 2,000 m² they are enabled to serve different kind of customers and their markets with all kind of special steel structures. Besides that they are also taking care of all kind of logistics to customers address.

The expansion enables them to serve their (future) customers in the most flexible and reliable way.
