Ampelmann Trials Offshore with Electrical Trolley

Ampelmann has carried out successful trials with the first electrical trolley on the Esvagt Froude SOV offshore in the Baltic II windfarm for Siemens Wind Power.

This trolley is available and suitable for the existing Ampelmann fleet of A-type and E-type gangways. It can be operated by one person and it can carry various tools, bags and spares weighing up to 200kg.

Furthermore, Ampelmann is working on a larger trolley, able to carry a payload of 400kg, that can be used on the wider gangway (120cm). This A400 gangway is specifically developed for fast-and-easy cargo/people flows and will be released in October 2017.
