Tekmar Energy to Protect Cables on East Anglia One
Tekmar Energy has been awarded a contract by VBMS to supply its seventh generation of TekLink cable protection systems (CPS), bellmouths and cover disks for ScottishPower renewables’ East Anglia One Offshore Windfarm.
VBMS has awarded contracts on the project to both Tekmar and JDR Cables, both based in the North East of England, who will supply of the CPS and power cables respectively.
East Anglia One marks the second UK round 3 project Tekmar has protected the cables on, after the Rampion Offshore Windfarm project which is currently in installation. To date Tekmar have worked on over 50 offshore wind projects across the globe and supplied more than 5,000 CPS.
