i-Bridge Air Wings at METSTRADE
TEAM Italia will again be exhibiting its new i-Bridge Air Wings at the forthcoming METSTRADE Show in Amsterdam. I-Bridge Air wings is the new, integrated nav com solution that controls and manages all onboard systems via 3D technology, multi-touch controls and joggers, a 4k stretch display and an integrated wing. Featuring 100% Italian design, as well as ergonomic studies that were developed in-house, I-Bridge Air Wings allows users to enjoy easy handling and high safety standards.
The I-Bridge Air Wings features three consoles – port and starboard side consoles that feature the navigation systems, conning display, multi-control touch display and touch joggers and trackballs, and a central console with a stretch 4K display, 4K touch display, and a touch display for JP controls and thrust levers. Furthermore included is the I-Chart table, which is similar to the version shown in 2016, but with the addition of a conning display panel that can be configured according to the operator’s desires.
The ultra-wide display on the central console allows for a new type of head-up display. It is based on a 180° wide panoramic camera, and involves a new way of implementing the head-up transparent display screen that TEAM Italia presented last year. This new version is more practical as it requires less space, but includes the same features. The user superimposes any desired function or element. The system has a very wide view, and enables the integration of the 3D monitoring developed by Onyx Marine Automation, one of the companies in the TEAM Italia Group.
