Innovative Oil & Gas Worker Safety Solutions
Globus Group, the specialist Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) manufacturer, will be showcasing its latest protective safety solutions at this year’s Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, USA from 30 April to 3 May.
Located on stand number 1061-09 in the Scottish Pavilion, the UK company will give visitors the opportunity to see its latest range of innovative, high-performance safety solutions designed to protect offshore oil & gas workers. Covering a range of critical PPE areas, the latest solutions featured will include the multi-award winning ENHA Ranger safety helmet incorporating the innovative Crashbox impact absorption system, as well as the E-MAN electrical safety helmet that provides arc flash protection up to 7kA/0.5sec. A range of disposable respirator masks including the Alpha Flow FFP3 masks will be exhibited at the Globus Group stand. Offering breathing protection from FFP1 to FFP3, the Alpha Flow range is colour-coded for ease of identification when varying levels of protection are required. Protection against a range of respiratory hazards is available, from non-toxic dust (FFP1) to environments where workers will encounter potentially hazardous oil and water-based particulates (FFP3). Also featured will be the 3000 Series mask, which is proven to provide an exceptionally good fit test performance for a disposable respirator. The renowned range of Riley safety glasses and goggles with polycarbonate lenses as standard, designed specifically for workers in extreme conditions will also be featured. Performance technology incorporated into the range includes lens tint options and the exclusive anti-scratch and anti-fog TECTONTM lens coatings.
