InterDam Welcomes Fraser Weir as New CEO
InterDam, international market leader in fire and blast resistant architectural products for the offshore and onshore oil and gas and renewable energy sectors, is proud to announce and welcome Fraser Weir as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.
He joins the team from Spirit Energy where he was based in Aberdeen and Amsterdam, and he brings over twenty years of experience in the energy sector. He previously also held management positions at Shell and Boston Consulting Group. Over the past years, Mr Fraser has developed highly valuable insights and a strong network in the energy sector that will benefit InterDam in its future business. Former CEO and founder of InterDam, Mr Berend Groeneveld, will fulfil the role of Chief Commercial Officer.
Together, Mr Groeneveld and Mr Weir form the board of directors. They are supported by a strong management team and approximately 50 employees dedicated to serve customers optimally. The change accelerates InterDam’s ambitious growth plans, which are based on continuing the outstanding success it has achieved in creating the safest area possible for professionals and equipment working in high risk environments since its foundation in 2007.
Having Mr Weir join the team will bring increasing strength to the operations. In addition, with Mr Groeneveld fully focusing on the commercial side of the business, InterDam will further strengthen its position as the product innovator of high-quality integrated solutions to the global offshore and onshore oil & gas and renewable energy sectors.
