Bergolin Presents Rotor-Blade Coatings
Bergolin will present its latest developments in the field of rotor-blade coatings at WindEnergy Hamburg from 25 to 28 September 2018.
The focus is on innovative products such as inmould gelcoat, putty, water-thinnable topcoats, balancing compounds for balancing rotor blades and a particularly durable and long-lasting leading edge protection system. Visitors to the stand will also have the opportunity to experience Bergolin’s waterjet test in a live demonstration. It is used to determine a coating’s resistance to rain erosion and is employed in particular for testing leading edge protection, which is considered a key element for the durability of rotor blades for wind turbines.
