Tijssen Elektro Maritime Appoints Eddy Huisman as New Managing Director

The Board of Directors of the Tijssen Group is very pleased to announce the appointment of Eddy Huisman as the new Managing Director of Tijssen Elektro Maritime. He takes over from Pedro Kappen, who will be active as chairman of the board/owner of the Tijssen Group.
Mr Huisman joined Tijssen Elektro in March 2006 as General Manager Engineering. In this position he has taken the engineering department to a higher level and he has expanded Tijssen Elektro’s order book. This role will be taken over by Marcel Pith, now working as Manager Software Engineering at Tijssen Elektro. Huisman also held the position of Commercial Manager for Tijssen Elektro’s subsidiary Tijssen Elektro AV Systems (TAV Systems). Philip Valk, now working as System Engineer at TAV Systems, will replace Mr Huisman in this role.
The Board of Directors has total confidence that Mr Huisman will uphold Tijssen Elektro’s international position as a leading turn-key system integrator for superyachts. Mr Huisman states, “I look forward to this new challenge with our strong and dedicated team.”
