LYNX YACHTS Launches First YXT 24 Evolution

On 18 October during a beautiful sunny morning in Nijkerk, the YXT 24 Evolution touches water for the first time. After the christening ceremony, owner’s representatives, designers, media, guests, friends and LYNX team enjoyed a convivial outdoor lunch on the banks of the canal next to the shipyard.

Sold in May 2017 to an American entrepreneur, this is the second 24m superyacht support vessel and the fourth yacht overall built by LYNX YACHTS shipyard. With the exterior designed by Bernd Weel, the naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design and the interior design by Darnet Design, she represents the intensive work of the LYNX YACHTS’ team to create a custom-built yacht to support her passionate owner on his quest for action and adventure at sea.

What makes this YXT 24 particularly special is her strength as a platform for sport, exploration and adventure. With her spacious lazarette accessible from the swim platform and 75sqm of deck space, the yacht provides plenty of room for the storage of equipment, tenders and toys, including the owner’s personal Land Rover Defender, enabling him to explore on land as well as at the sea.

“It has been a pleasure to work with this client,” says Filippo Rossi, Sales and Marketing Manager at LYNX YACHTS. “His passion for yachting and for the sea is infectious. He knows exactly how he wants to use his YXT and this has helped us to adapt the vessel for him. At LYNX YACHTS, we are committed to detail and quality. Everything we do is centred on the user experience, meaning that this fantastic yacht is completely tailor-made to suit the needs and wishes of her owner. We are really proud of the result of this project; it shows the true flexibility of the YXT platform and the levels of customisation we can achieve.”
