The Benetti Giga Season Begins
The Benetti Giga Season has officially begun: a period of great excitement and activity for the shipyard.
Over the next few months, Benetti will be under the spotlight of the yachting industry as three giga yachts, each one over 100m in length, will be launched in Livorno. Benetti FB277 will be the first to be launched on 18 December during a private event, but this week, for the first time ever, she saw the light of day as she gradually immerged from her shed.
With a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, FB277 measures 107m in length. She has a beam of 15.2m and a full load displacement of 3,300t. FB277 has been designed entirely by Benetti and built in collaboration with Imperial Yachts, who were in charge of the project’s management and supervision, on behalf of the owner.
