Innovo and Petroconst Complete Successful Crane Project

InnovoInnovo has successfully completed an EPCC contract for Romanian oil & gas operator OMV Petrom. Innovo partnered up with Romanian firm Petroconst to install a new platform crane, and decommission a further two cranes in the Black Sea’s Istria block.

The challenging project involved both onshore studies and offshore work, equating to over 35,000 man-hours. Both companies combined their engineering and construction capabilities to execute the project without any Lost Time Incidents (LTIs) and within the tight time schedule, which was driven by operational constraints. Garry Millard, Corporate Business Development Director of Innovo, says, “Working with Petroconst has given us the opportunity to combine our expertise and skillsets in construction and engineering to complete this challenging project on time and on budget. Collaborating to meticulously plan and co-ordinate engineering tasks and construction activities meant that we were able to optimise the efficiency of our personnel at all times, something which was instrumental in our success. We very much look forward to collaborating with Petroconst on further projects.” Adrian Rosculet, Technical Director of Petroconst SA, adds, “We have been really satisfied and pleased to work in co-operation with Innovo on this project, and we look forward to establishing more collaborative business opportunities in the future. We have gained priceless experience whilst working with their team, and I would like to personally thank them for their outstanding performance and working attitude, which enabled a smooth and successful fulfilment of the project.”
