Williams Jet Tenders Unveils New Product Range

WilliamsWilliams Jet Tenders, has today announced that it will be launching a new product range focused specifically on the superyacht sector. The first model in the new range, the Evojet 70 is set to launch in autumn 2019 and will be a tender capable of carrying thirteen guests. A larger sister model will launch later in 2020.

Responding to requests from its customer base, who are progressing to ever larger yachts, Williams has recognised the demand for a range of all-purpose, semi-custom superyacht tenders and chase boats.
With Williams’ current range catering for yachts up to 40m, this exciting new jet tender represents a significant step forward for the brand. The Evojet 70 will take the hallmark traits of the current Williams range and apply them to the superyacht sector with particular focus on refined and practical designs underpinned by reliable and proven engineering.

Every detail has been carefully considered in the design of Williams’ new tender to offer owners a seamless experience. Throughout the boat, there will be multiple boarding options to ensure an easy transition from the parent yacht or dock. The Evojet 70 boasts an innovative foldout walk-through transom and a single level flat floor for ease of movement once onboard. The Evojet 70 will offer more than the traditional superyacht tender. With a proven Deep-V hull, the Evojet 70 will allow you to not only move from ship to shore in comfort but also explore those hard to reach beaches and remote stretches of coastline further afield thanks to its 200l fuel tank. With an integrated waterski pole and abundant storage, the Evojet 70 will perform just as well as a day boat as it does a tender.

One of the most distinctive features on the new Evojet 70 is the optional folding carbon fibre T-Top, providing ample shade for the driver and passengers whilst also having the ability to fold flat for easy garage fitment. As an option, the T-Top can also support fore and aft bimini canopies, providing shade over the whole boat. Coupled with the on-board cool box this feature enables guests to enjoy an entire day away from the parent yacht in complete comfort. Lighting will be a major feature throughout, with concealed LED lights providing controllable illumination for effortless night-time boarding.

Remaining committed to Williams’ proven and reliable jet propulsion system, the new tender will be powered by the latest Yanmar 4LV engine technology, a diesel engine producing more torque than its predecessor, offering unrivalled reliability and global service support. This coupled with Williams’ in-house designed jet pump and new single lever integrated thrust control system will provide a class-leading driving experience and pin-point accurate low-speed control.

Commenting on the new model, Mathew Hornsby, Sales Director at Williams Jet Tenders, says, “The new Evojet range is a real game changer for the business and it’s the start of the next chapter in Williams’ history. The tender’s luxurious fit and finish has been designed with practicality and usability in mind, resulting in a versatile model that allows you to explore further. Tenders placed onboard 40m+ superyachts are often custom-built, and this ultimately means a higher cost and a longer lead time. Our proposition is unique, we can deliver a semi customised product, in a shorter lead time than our competitors, leveraging our proven engineering to create a reliable, innovative superyacht tender at a very competitive price.”
