Westwood launches new business intelligence solution for the Northwest Europe offshore industry

Westwood Global Energy Group (Westwood) has launched its enhanced Atlas market intelligence solution for Northwest (NW) Europe. The solution provides E&P and midstream companies with deeper subsurface and commercial insights to optimise and extend asset life and understand the untapped potential of nearby fields and prospects.

In addition to technical analysis, Atlas now offers access to commercial analysis of every field and development in the UK and Norway, integrated with research reports and a new mapping tool. The solution allows companies to evaluate opportunities quickly and make better informed commercial decisions. Importantly, Atlas focusses on production hubs in NW Europe. It provides insight into the potential upside including undeveloped discoveries and exploration opportunities that could help maintain and increase production throughput and extend hub life.

Emma Cruickshank, Head of Research, NW Europe at Westwood says, “The NW Europe upstream sector faces a huge challenge managing both the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and dealing with oil prices back in the USD 30s. Access to the best data, analysis and insight is more important than ever. We have designed the new Atlas interface with a focus on production hubs, which allows you to understand when hubs are expected to cease production and which have the biggest upside potential. We felt a solution was needed that could offer accurate intelligence to maximise and optimise infrastructure and ultimately delay decommissioning.” Ms Cruickshank adds, “We combine our depth of data and technical expertise on subsurface and commercial activity with our operational experience to offer clients a way to improve business performance and assess and adjust their strategy.”
