SMST gangway fleet for every offshore wind park
SMST continues to expand its gangway rental fleet. Not only the number of Telescopic Access Bridges (TAB) is being enlarged, but also the possibilities of the modular gangway system have again been expanded.
A few clients have already satisfactorily experienced our latest development; the addition of a height adjustment system that enables safe and efficient transfer of people and cargo in offshore wind parks with large differences in landing heights and also extreme heights. With this addition, the SMST gangways are ready for operations in every offshore wind park, anywhere in the world.
The new height adjustment system ensures comfortable crossing and maximum workability at every level of an offshore platform. By means of a rail system attached to the stacking modules, the height of the Telescopic Access Bridges can be adjusted. This enables safe and easy connections with a large window of landing heights. The gangways are therefore suitable for deployment in all existing wind parks and for a wide variety of vessels and operational situations, including floating wind applications.
In addition to the rental gangway fleet, SMST’s modular mission equipment for the offshore wind market covers a range of gangways for purchase, 3D motion compensated cranes, Access & Cargo Towers and cargo handling equipment.
