DHR Introduces Rough Weather LED Navigation Lights

Well known for its navigation lights, Den Haan Rotterdam (DHR) has stepped into the field of LED-technology – the all-new DHR60-series LED navigation light, which is developed for seagoing vessels up to 50 m in length and all types of inland navigation vessels. With a robust design and a long operating lifetime of more than 10 years, this lantern is the best solution for ships operating in heavy conditions, DHR states. Other interesting features of the DHR60 are an integrated main and backup LED-module, standard base mounting, replaceability of defective components, power consumption of just 2 to 8 W and many more. Complying to the IMO-requirements (MED ), the DHR60 will be the first LED navigation light of a series of three and will be available from May this year. Established in 1922, DHR is a family owned business, which develops and produces lighting and signalling products for the marine market.
