Parker Hannifin Focus on ‘Extreme Performance on Every Level’

Parker Hannifin, a world leader in motion and control technologies, will be exhibiting at this year’s Offshore Europe conference and exhibition in Aberdeen under the banner of ‘Extreme Performance on Every Level.’ Parker will be showcasing its wide and diverse range of products and technologies that are designed to meet the significant operational and environmental challenges typical in offshore applications.

Parker’s stand will highlight four of the main areas where extreme challenges exist when developing high performance yet durable and reliable products for offshore, these are: corrosion, depth, pressure and temperature. Products and demonstrations will convey to visitors how Parker is meeting these tough challenges through innovation driven by its years of experience working in the sector. They will show how material selection, intelligent control, traceability and health & safety are addressed and optimised to deliver the products offered by the company to its customers working in the offshore exploration and production markets.

Some examples of the many Parker products that visitors will be able to see on the stand include the AC30 inverter drive, that provides a simple to configure and use modular and robust design ideally suited to working reliably in the harshest environments. Various sampling and analysis units from the condition monitoring product range, which support quick-and-easy inspection for contaminants in mineral based fluids and addresses downtime issues. The Parflange F37 non-welded hydraulic piping system that offers improved installation efficiency and up to a 50 pecent reduction in flushing times. Also included will be an example of Parker’s reverse osmosis desalination equipment that can turn up to 26,000 litres of seawater into potable fresh water per day, and Black Eagle multispiral wire reinforced hoses that are available in continuous lengths of up to 2,000 m, allowing faster and safer deployment with fewer connections and reduced risk to personnel.

“Extremes of depth, pressure and temperature and the constant threat of corrosion mean that products and technologies for use in the offshore market have to be at the forefront in terms of innovation, durability and longevity,” said: Adrian Foster, UK Marketing Manager, Parker Hannifin. ”Backed by decades of experience and huge internal engineering resource and expertise, Parker has been a key enabler of safe and successful offshore exploration and production for a long time and our latest technologies on show at Offshore Europe will demonstrate that trend continuing.”
