New owners Studer Cables
Since 30 March, Swiss cable manufacturer Studer Cables is back in Swiss hands. A consortium of buyers around the old and new CEO, Bruno Fankhauser and Helvetica Capital acquired the company from the German LEONI Group. The new owners mark a return to private ownership for this long-standing company and Swiss quality brand for the cable industry.
The technologically advanced special cables are particularly popular in the rail industry and more and more also in the manufacturing of cables for use in electric vehicles. These high-tech products have also become state-of-the-art when it comes to cabling solar power plant or large infrastructure buildings. Also, through for example the collaboration with Dutch company Calpe, it offers products to the offshore and maritime industry.
Whenever it comes to safety, durability and energy efficiency in electrical cabling and energy-related installations the products from Studer Cables are the safe choice. “Studer Cables is an internationally established top brand. The company has first-class employees as well as unique skills in development and manufacturing of high-quality plastics and the construction and production of special cables”, says CEO and co-owner Bruno Fankhauser.
